A plethora of fabric is used in this work. Machine and hand stitched, beaded and embellished.
looking out my window during a February thaw I could see brilliant colours in the melting snow, ice, and dogwoods.
A smaller work but significant as it marks the transition from machine stitching to hand stitching.
Working with silks, satins, tuile, and hand dyed cotton I strived to make a coolish and lonely theme. lots of hand and machine embroidery.
